Journal Entry by Muse Lily Mustelier

I live in my dreams, and lately, I've been practicing grounding to make my dreams my reality. On my best days, I wake up by slowly bringing awareness to my body and practicing gratitude for where I am and how far I've come. I ask for patience in my process and to stop comparing myself to others. I am in month two of online reiki/meditation/tarot workshops taught by my witchy teacher and mentor, Denisse Monge, so I'll join in or listen to recordings for guided meditations and classes. After not listening to my intuition for many years, it got to a point where it was screaming, so I am finally tuning in and honing my psychic abilities.
I've finally committed to the book 'The Artist's Way'. It invites you to start your day with morning pages, three pages of your stream of consciousness, affirmations after, and solo artists dates to unlock your creative potential and move through your blocks. I make myself a golden milk latte out of fresh cashew milk I make with my Almond Cow (alternative milk game changer). If I am hungry, I will make myself an egg toast. I used to fast till the afternoon, but I found I was overeating once I broke the fast.
Diet is the main factor in my breakouts; I suffered from acne on my forehead as a teen. As much as I did not want to believe my dad when he'd tell me it was all the peanut butter and toaster strudels I was eating, he was right. With time, I've been Your skin will talk to you; listen to it.
If I don't have any appointments in the morning, I will go to a morning pilates or barre class. Lately, I've been gentle with my movements, and barre, while low impact, targets deep muscles you would not otherwise use. I like that it's ballet-inspired. In order to keep my workouts consistent, I must do what I enjoy instead of forcing high intensity when my energy is not there.
I've been consuming some online classes, including a really inspiring Masterclass by Sara Blakely, who founded Spanx. Her story is incredible, as she had no experience or business/entrepreneurship schooling. Using her lack of experience as an advantage and her intuition to guide her, Sara turned her $5k savings into a billion-dollar company. As an advocate of manifestation/visualization and the law of attraction, she manifested this idea two years prior in her journal. It's been refreshing to see how "business" doesn't have to be all masculine; you can build a wildly successful business while balancing it with your divine feminine.
While I closed off this quarter strong, it was very challenging. I learned to stand my ground, and as important as it is for clients to interview me, it is just as essential for me to interview clients. There is no price tag to endure any sort of abuse or having to sacrifice myself for a "great" opportunity. While my confidence took a blow, interestingly enough, I did two interviews. My Coral Moon Planter is now featured in the Objectified column in Robb Report, APRIL Issue, reminding me to acknowledge my accomplishments. Now that things have quieted down, this time has allowed me to rebuild my confidence and perfect what I have. The stillness has reminded me of the path I want to take with Apollo and how I can use my creativity to serve others. This includes having a physical presence again... While occasional anxiety seeps through, I look to the seasons and remind myself, "Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished." – Lao Tzu
